British TV star Jody Latham has been arrested over allegations of assault and growing cannabis with intent to supply.
The 28 year old, who has starred in U.K. TV hits Shameless and Eastenders, was taken into custody on Friday after a man was reportedly beaten at his home in Lancashire, northern England.
Cops are also alleged to have found marijuana plants at his property.
A police spokesperson tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis, and being concerned in that drug's supply."
